Installation and equipment of urea formaldehyde production line
The company is currently working on adding a urea-formaldehyde-85 production line with a capacity of 75 tons/day for both lines in the Southern Fertilizer Industry Company, according to the latest licenses and technology used in the world.
The production line will produce 75 tons/day of formaldehyde according to the specifications below:
Formaldehyde 60% | Urea 25% | Water 15% | PH: 8,5
Urea formaldehyde concentrate – 85 is used as a material added to urea to increase the hardness of the product. It also works to prevent urea agglomeration. It has many industrial and health uses that can be supplied to local markets, such as formalin, melamine, dyes and wood glue.
Rehabilitation, operation and development of the first line in the General Company for Southern Fertilizers Industry
The company has been working since April 2022 to rehabilitate the first line and bring it back to life, reaching the designed capacity, which amounts to 1,600 tons of urea and 1,000 tons of intermediate ammonia product, after several stops as a result of the lack of spare materials and the end of the plant’s life span, in addition to transferring control of the line. The first is from the pneumatic system to an electronic system (DCS), which allows the production of urea fertilizer with high energy and the latest internationally approved technical specifications in a clean and environmentally friendly manner, noting that the work is proceeding according to the set plan and high completion rates have been reached.
